The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in the engagement with integrators, end users, specifiers and distribution partner sales and account management staff to improve Ajax Systems business performance / reputation and ensure healthy sustained business growth in the markets assigned

Ajax Systems therefore requires the Business Development Manager to provide a role that is acting as the ambassador of the company and brand delivering the following key tasks:

  • Collect and analyze the information about the target channel (CMS, security companies) - channel size per country, main players, customer specific details (monitoring software type, detectors brands in portfolio etc.);
  • Promote Ajax Systems products and services to specifiers like CMS, systems integrators, in Baltic States;
  • Follow up new business opportunities and arrange meetings with partners to communicate product features, benefits and developments to business partners;
  • Actively encourage the specification of systems to include Ajax Systems products and solutions;
  • Relationships building
  • Work closely with branded product distribution partners to fulfill the business partners’ requirements;
  • Deliver product and commercial education and training in conjunction with business partners;
  • Assist with the development of channel strategy for Ajax Systems products and solutions;
  • Provide management with feedback based on requirements of current and future Ajax Systems products and solutions.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports using the company CRM in support of your role or for management requirements

The key attributes and expectations of a good Business Development Manager are:
● Understanding of industry standards, channels and sectors;
● Great business sense, good communication and negotiation skills;
● Data-driven sales approach: CRM, analytics tools, etc.
● Initiative, Honesty and Integrity. Team-oriented approach to reach company strategic goals with excellent tactical steps;
● Technical background is nice to have as well as experience in security systems/CCTV;
